Running your own social network

Doc Searls pointed out a nice rant from Om Malik: he wants to manage hisw own social network, not rely on trapping his information in Tribe.net or LinkedIn or whatever.

Here's Om's idea for this application:

A special application, which allows me to set up my own private Tribe.net. As these “private
